Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

This is a personal blog. It tries to collect as little as possible. This page explains exactly what is stored, why, and who can see it.

What is collected

If you only read — no account, no tracking, no advertising cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is your light/dark theme choice (in localStorage).

If you create an account, the following is stored:

  • Email address — used only to log you in and recover access. It is never shown publicly and is not displayed on your comments.
  • Username — chosen by you and shown publicly next to your comments and replies.
  • Password — stored only as a salted hash by the authentication provider; it is never readable, not even by the site owner.
  • Your activity — the comments and replies you write, the posts and comments you like, and the time you did so. Comments and likes are public.

How it is used

  • To let you log in, post comments, reply, and like.
  • To show your username on your public contributions.
  • To show you your own comments and likes on your account page.

Your data is not sold, rented, or used for advertising or profiling.

Where it is stored, and who processes it

  • Supabase — hosts the database and authentication (your account and content). See Supabase's own privacy policy.
  • GitHub Pages — serves the website files; like any web host, its servers may log standard request data (e.g. IP address, browser).
  • jsDelivr (CDN) — serves a few open-source JavaScript libraries used by the pages; loading them may expose your IP to the CDN.

Cookies & local storage

No advertising or analytics cookies are used. The site stores two things in your browser: your theme preference, and — if you log in — a session token so you stay signed in. Logging out clears the session.

Your choices

  • Change your username or password anytime on the account page.
  • Delete your own comments at any time.
  • To delete your account and associated data, contact the owner below — your comments and likes are removed along with the account.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

This policy may be updated; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
